Responsibilities
Tasks

Represent their respective organizations for the purpose of government liaison and media relations

Develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches

Write research papers, educational texts and articles

Supervise other social workers, paid para-professional staff, student trainees and volunteers

Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team of professionals working with a client group

Refer clients to agencies that provide financial assistance, legal aid, housing, medical treatment and other services
