Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Electrical and electronics engineering. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Remote location. Various locations. Marine. Tasks: Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components. Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments. Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems. Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems. Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports. Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies. Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies. Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults. Equipment, eystems and controls experience: Telecommunication system. Radar equipment and systems.
