Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Clean and lubricate cranes. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas. Assemble tower cranes on site. Operate gantry cranes to load and unload ship cargo at port side. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Pave and rake asphalt. Assist in demolishing buildings. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.- LocationWinnipeg, MB
