Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Private residence. Employer's home. Tasks: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Dust furniture. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture. Make beds and change sheets. Distribute clean towels and toiletries. Stock linen closet. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Disinfect operating rooms and other areas. Handle and report lost and found items. Provide basic information on facilities. Pick up debris and empty trash containers. Launder clothing and household linens. Mend clothing and linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Prepare meals. Maintain supplies. Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment. Assist with coordination of recreational, sport and fitness events . Maintain clean and safe work environment. Check to ensure that food, beverages, blankets, reading material, emergency equipment, and other supplies are aboard and are in adequate supply. Area of work experience: Cleaning. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Public transportation is available.
