Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Commercial. Tasks: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments. Supervision: 3-4 people. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Client focus. Judgement. Reliability. Team player. Values and ethics.
