Room and board provided. High-rise building construction sites. Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Assist in demolishing buildings. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Working at heights training. Equipment and machinery experience: Nail guns. Drills. Forklift. Hand tools. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Residential. Roofing. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Willing to travel. Willing to travel regularly. Willing to travel overnight. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Manual dexterity. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Overtime required. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
