Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: School or educational institution/establishment. Urban area. Tasks: Conduct research. Determine the objectives and milestones of a new project. Develop the content of the curriculum. Elaborate the structure of the curriculum. Evaluate the actual educational outcomes in comparison with the intended outcomes expressed in the objectives of the program. Supervise other education policy researchers, consultants and program officers. Evaluate curriculum programs and recommend improvements. Conduct statistical analyses to determine cost and effectiveness of education policies and programs. Provide on-going professional development, training and consultative services to teachers. Develop teaching materials and other resources for program delivery. Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia. Functional expertise: Public relations or communications.
