Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Rural area. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Supermarket/grocery store. Tasks: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Clean kitchen and work areas. Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit. Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs. Sharpen kitchen knives. Portion and wrap foods. Package take-out food. Handle and store cleaning products. Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment. Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas. Place dishes in storage area. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Safe Food Handling certificate. Cuisine specialties: Sushi preparation techniques. Dim Sum. Japanese cuisine. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Public transportation is not available.
