Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dusty. Work setting: Various locations. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Tasks: Professionalism in customer service. Load and unload goods. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Type of trucking and equipment: Dump truck. Hydrovac. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Provincial/territorial. Regional. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?.
