Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Assist other processing workers in the operation of various woodworking machines and equipment. Feed conveyors, hoppers, saws and drying machines. Sort, pile and transport wood products. Remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Type of product: Lumber. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Experience: Will train. Support for newcomers and refugees: Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees . Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees .
