Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Housekeeping activities. Food preparation. Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings. Administer medications and provide advanced emergency treatments to patients. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher. Care for foster children. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants. Supervision: No supervision responsibility. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Child welfare check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Willing to travel. Valid driver's licence. Travel expenses paid by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Attention to detail.
