Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AZ class license. Air Brakes Endorsement. Transportation/travel experience: Long-haul. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel for extended periods. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication.
