Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex. Various locations. Commercial building. Industrial facility or establishment. Shopping centre or mall. Recreational facility/institution. Health care institution, facility or clinic. Hotel, motel, resort. School or educational institution/establishment. Tasks: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform safety and security checks. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Personal suitability: Dependability.
