Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Address customers' complaints or concerns. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Pay and receive payments for goods. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Experience: Experience an asset.- LocationVernon, BC
