Whether you are just starting your career, re-entering the workforce, or looking for a new job, this is where you belong. </p><p></p><p><b>What you'll do:</b></p><ul><li><p>Oversee the day-to-day operations of a specific department within a store</p></li><li><p>Ensure the department meets or exceeds sales and profitability goals</p></li><li><p>Train and develop department associates in customer service, product knowledge, and merchandising</p></li><li><p>Ensure merchandise is stocked, displayed, and priced appropriately</p></li><li><p>Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely replenishment</p></li><li><p>Maintain a clean and safe department for customers and employees</p></li><li><p>Manage departmental expenses and assist in budget preparation</p></li><li><p>Communicate regularly with store management and other department managers to ensure store-wide goals are being met</p></li><li><p>Be constantly on the lookout for great talent to join our team</p></li><li><p>Lead, coach and motivate colleagues to improve productivity, engagement and retention</p></li><li><p>Be committed to maintaining merchandising and operational standards</p></li><li><p>Building and leading diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you bring:</b></p><ul><li><p>High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred</p></li><li><p>Previous retail management experience, preferably in a departmental or specialty store setting</p></li><li><p>Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop associates</p></li><li><p>Excellent organizational and time management skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of retail operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and customer service</p></li><li><p>Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.</p></li><li></li></ul><p>Our commitment to Sustainability and Social Impact is an essential part of the way we do business, and we focus our attention on areas where we can have the greatest impact.
