*Job Type:* Part Time (20 hrs/week)
*Location:* Hamilton, ON. 70% remote, 30% on site program locations/events
*Shift and Schedule:* Generally Monday to Friday, evenings and weekends as needed (events, training)
*Job Description: *Since 2009, the Fit Active Beautiful Foundation has been inspiring youth girls in lower income communities of Hamilton to dream big, live big and realize ?they can!?. We are seeking a highly organized, detail oriented and creative thinker to join our team as our Program Coordinator. As the Program Coordinator you will be responsible for Assisting the Executive Director (ED) with the planning, delivery and evaluation of the FAB 5k Challenge Program that is delivered every spring in multiple locations across Hamilton. This is a remote position with some evening & weekend in person requirements.
*Qualifications and Requirements*
· Diploma or degree
· Available to work evenings and weekends as needed
· 1-2 years of relevant work experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organizational, interpersonal/relationship building skills
· Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suites (word, excel/spreadsheets, powerpoint, email)
· Able to work independently
· The role involves multitasking and adaptability to changing priorities
· Ideal for individuals who are detail oriented, proactive and have a passion for facilitating meaningful programs
*Responsibilities*
· Assist the ED with the planning, delivery and evaluation of the FAB 5K Challenge Program (locations, events, recruitment, communication, evaluation)
· Support the ED with Coach recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing support
· Manage and steward relationships with coaches, parents & guardians
· Assist the ED with creating a program summary for the board of directors including key stats, results against targets and areas of opportunity for program enhancements
· Support the ED and/or the board of directors with any ad hoc requests related to program.
· This position reports directly to the Executive Director
