The pay range we are offering is $18.00 to $22.00 an hour based on experience and position. · We offer employee incentives and competitive wages. · We also offer on the job training and mentoring. · *Note*: Snowplow removal work is available to those wanting employment over the winter months. *Requirements:* · A strong work ethic and positive attitude. · Able to perform the physical aspects of the position. · Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with staff and clients. · Co-operate with staff on health and safety matters. · Reliable, consistent, and punctual. · Attention to detail. *Responsibilities:* · Maintaining Commercial and/or Residential landscapes such as lawns and gardens. · Modifying the terrain of a property in several ways (i.e., laying mulch, sod, etc.). · Safely operate all vehicles and equipment (if applicable) including: 21? and 36? mowers, power hedge shears, trimmers, backpack blowers, and aerators; in accordance with Husky Landscaping Services ?Safety Policies?. · Possible duties include, but are not limited to mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, hand pruning, hedge pruning, fertilizing, and aerating. · Planting of trees, flowers, shrubs, and other landscape materials. · Working efficiently and safely alongside fellow crew members. · Effectively following instruction from crew leaders. · Basic understanding of plant and weed identification. · Basic skills in shaping and pruning shrubs and hedges. · Always abide by Husky Landscaping Services ?Code of Conduct?. Individuals with previous experience in landscaping, and a valid driver?s license will be given first consideration. *The Location:* Husky Landscaping?s clientele base is in North York and the Markham areas.
