*Nails And Lashes Applicator* Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Salary: $17 per hour Job type: Full-time ? minimum 40 hours/week *Minimum Qualifications:* · Education: High school diploma · Work Experience: 2 years · Professional certificates Languages: English and Vietnamese (to communicate with Vietnamese customers) Benefits: Wellness program Start date: January 6th, 2025 Vacancies: 1 Job duties: · Give facial and other body treatments using specialized products and techniques. · Advise customers on the use of make-up and other beauty products and apply make-up to customers; may specialize in applying make-up to models or other individuals for special occasions. · Remove unwanted hair permanently from client's face or body using needle only specialized electrical hair removal equipment, laser or other equipment. · Clean, shape and polish fingernails and toenails and provide related treatments. · Apply medicated lotions to treat scalp conditions and hair loss. Nail Technician Duties: · Manicures and Pedicures: Provide high-quality manicures and pedicures, which include cleaning, shaping, and polishing nails. Apply artificial nails and recommend nail designs. · Sanitation: Ensure all nail instruments and workstations are sanitized and orderly. · Customer Interaction: Greet clients, answer their questions, and build relationships to encourage repeat visits. Also, provide advice on nail care and recommend products. · Additional Services: Offer hand and foot massages and stay updated with the latest nail trends. Lash Technician Duties: · Eyelash Extensions: Apply extensions to natural eyelashes to enhance appearance. This includes conducting consultations to determine clients' desired styles. · Eyelash Care: Perform eyelash tinting, perming, and lifting.
