Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Asset languages: Dutch; Flemish. Chinese. Work setting: Office building. Tasks: Attend to other financial transactions, such as plane tickets and travel insurance . Calculate cost of travel and accommodations. Handle reimbursement in case of transportation and hotel reservations cancellation. Recommend suitable products. Investigate new travel areas, hotels and other amenities. Manage difficult situations with customers. Provide customers with travel information and other details such as regulations, duty free allowances, health risks and requirements, attractions and special events. Attend to cancellations and schedule changes. Make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing system. Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation, accommodation options and travel costs. Promote sales to existing clients. Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO). Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office.
