*Job posting ? Lift Operator* Are you a people person who loves the outdoors? Craigleith Ski Club is hiring Lift Operators to join our team! Successful candidates will offer outstanding customer service, a positive, friendly attitude, and willingness to work as part of a team. *Key Roles & Responsibilities* * Safely operate ski lifts in compliance with regulation and applicable policies and procedures. * Complete daily start up and emergency checks and completes all applicable documentation. * Provide excellent customer service and instruction to all guests and members, be familiar with the club layout and products to answer inquires. * Slow or stop the chair as necessary to ensure passenger safety. * Maintain load and unload ramps and areas around all lift stations by raking/shoveling snow. * Ensure all chairs are free of snow prior to loading passengers. * Identify potential hazards and report and/or rectify them immediately. * Be familiar with all policies and procedures regarding operating and riding a ski lift and ensuring these are being followed by all staff, members and guests. * Be familiar with emergency procedures including contacting ski patrol. * Assist in evacuation of a disabled lift. * Maintain cleanliness of lift huts. * Other duties as reasonably assigned. *Qualifications* * Strong interpersonal and customer services skills * Good communication skills and ability to follow direction * Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high pressure, fast paced environments * Must be minimum of 16-years old to operate lifts per legal requirements * Ability to work in various/changing weather conditions. * Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks _Craigleith Ski Club is an equal opportunity employer.
