As part of our dedicated team, we are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team.
*What to Expect*: The role of a Business Development Manager is to develop business relationships with our referral partners and work closely with their clients. This position is critical to the success of our lending team in achieving our business goals.
*Job Responsibilities:*
? Sales Targets: Responsible for delivering established sales targets and active territory management.
? Revenue Generation: Generate revenue and achieve individual, team, and organizational quotas while contributing to sales strategy by defining and implementing plans to achieve sales objectives.
? Industry Trends: Keep current with industry trends and create awareness of local and area competitive marketing initiatives.
? Product Knowledge: Ongoing development of product knowledge, sales skills, and sales/relationship management techniques.
? Professional Sales Activities: Perform sales activities in a professional and proactive manner while maintaining the Business Code of Ethics and meeting or exceeding targets.
? Operational Management: Maintain day-to-day operational issues, including contact management, proactive account management, and issue resolution.
? Education: Educate on products, policies, rates, and profitable business practices.
? Broker Meetings: Conduct daily and weekly broker meetings and engagements either face-to-face or via Zoom.
? Event Representation: Represent Lendfinity at events, seminars, and meetings.
*Qualifications, Skills & Competencies:*
? Experience: Minimum of 8 years of financial services sales experience.
? Education: Post-secondary education or equivalent is preferred.
? Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the current financial services
environment and knowledge of the Canadian Mortgage industry.
? Relationship Building: A passion for relationship building and business development.
? Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
? Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills.
? Initiative: Proactive, self-starter who takes the initiative.
? Time Management: Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
? Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical thinking skills.
? Multi-tasking: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
? Sales Skills: Proven sales/business development skills.
? Mortgage Administration: Experience with mortgage administration.
