<p>Full-Time Educational Assistant <p>West Meadow Elementary School West Meadow Elementary School located in Claresholm, Alberta is seeking to employ the very best school based staff in Alberta! If you believe in contributing to a supportive caring learning environment for students we are looking for you to join our team.<p>The successful candidate will have knowledge of child development and the importance of play. The successful candidate will understand and follow Early Learning and Child Care Licensing<p>Regulations.<p>The successful candidate will have: Level 1 Early Childhood Educator or higher or willingness to complete funded certification<p> Current Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search<p> Current Intervention Record Check <p>Desired Qualifications and Attributes: Knowledge of child development and experience working with children ages 5-12 years old.<p> Responsibilities may include toileting and/or diapering<p> Provide a play based learning environment guided by Albertas Early Learning and Care Framework<p> Work within the community Preschool and the Elementary School to provide an inclusive environment. <p> Work collaboratively with the Early Learning Coordinator and the school principal/ designate.<p> Local knowledge and experience with culture and traditions <p> Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and staff <p> Have a willingness to participate in professional learning activities<p> Have strong written and verbal communication skills <p> Valid First Aid certificate is an asset <p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.<p>We thank all applicants for their interest in this position; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
