Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Wet/damp. Hot. Work setting: Rural area. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Greenhouse cleaning. Hand harvesting vegetables. Mixing fertilizer. Operate climate controls. Seed cutting. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Write daily basic progress reports. Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Plant bulbs and seeds. Pot and re-pot plants. Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings. Apply fertilizers. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding.
