Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Information technology (IT) service provider. Tasks: Develop and maintain computer databases. Document customers' requirements for projects. Document reporting needs, queries, logic, results and recommendations to other information systems professionals. Liaise with staff on data requirements, collection and availability . Provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding database management tools. Setup the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases. Test data models and database management systems. Develop and implement data administration policy, standards and models. Computer and technology knowledge: JavaScript. Python. SQL.
