Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Monitoring animal health. Perform livestock feeding. Weaning. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Equipment and machinery experience: Feeding and watering system. Tractor. Farm truck. Lift truck. Loader. Forklift. Automated systems experience: Bulk grain or feed handling - automated. Automated environmental control equipment. Manure handling and storage. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Large workload. Overtime required. Sound discrimination. Standing for extended periods.
