Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Operate heavy equipment. Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Measure distance, volume, length and weight. Operate computer controlled equipment. Complete onboard and other logs. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Prepare accident reports. Secure special attachments to equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Operate hydraulic pumping systems. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding.
