Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards. Prepare budget and cost estimates. Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment. Assist cleaners in performing duties. Co-ordinate work activities with other departments. Establish work schedules. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Provide basic information on facilities. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Overtime required. Personal suitability: Client focus. Judgement. Reliability. Values and ethics. Punctuality. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
