We are currently seeking qualified applicants for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with our Maintenance team in Montreal, QC to join our growing crew of aviation professionals dedicated to high quality maintenance operations on a temporary rotational basis. Our Operations: PAL Airlines Flight Line: Daily line maintenance support for Eastern Canada's largest fastest growing regional carrier and our new Air Canada Express operations. Our operations are a fast-paced, dynamic operation includes all maintenance checks and repairs carried out in the flight line, i.e. between flights or overnights. This includes layover checks up to A-checks, engine changes, and propeller replacements. Our team currently maintains DHC-8 aircrafts Rotation Shifts: Rotations will be on 2 weeks on - 2 weeks off basis, working 12-hour shifts. Terms would last between 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension. Qualifications & Skills: Required: Completed Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course with a valid M1/M2 Aircraft Maintenance License Required: Dash 8-300 and/or Dash 8 Q400 endorsementExperience in flight line operations would be considered an asset; The ability to work both independently and in a team environment; Troubleshooting skills; Must possess strong interpersonal, decision-making, organization and communication skills; and Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations. Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.Type Course Certification is considered an assetThe standard we strive for is that Aircraft Maintenance Engineers at PAL are Type-Certified on Company Aircraft.
