*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout each session. As a Massage Therapist, you will utilize your expertise in various massage techniques to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. *Duties* * Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to meet individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages. * Conduct thorough assessments of clients? physical conditions and discuss their health history to determine appropriate treatment plans. * Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sanitized and in good condition. * Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing any client concerns or questions effectively. * Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards. * Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques and practices. * Communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment plans, expected outcomes, and aftercare recommendations. *Requirements* * Valid state license or certification in massage therapy from an accredited program. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. * Effective communication skills to discuss treatment options and address client inquiries clearly. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. * Previous experience in a spa or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
