*Line Cook Position*
We are looking to expand our staff to include some enthusiastic people that enjoy the hospitality industry or want to explore working in our new location at East Point. We have a great team that come with lots of expertise and are very positive to work with. At Taste Of Egypt, we take pride in serving up a great product with great service. Duties:
- All areas of prep work. We cook everything in house so a lot of work goes into our prep.
-Work on the line using the grill, stove, donair machine, oven and deep fryers
-Provide a positive upbeat experience with prompt service.
-Work with other team members in the dining room and kitchen to maintain a great work environment.
-Be able to multitask and prioritize tasks.
-Provide a positive upbeat experience with prompt service.
-Work with other team members in the restaurant.
--Dish washing, cleaning equipment, changing garbage, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping & mopping floors. We work as a team here to make sure that the job is done.
Requirements:
-A positive upbeat personality
- An open mind- our cuisine is fantastic, but you need to know what it tastes like in order to ensure that it was made correctly.
-Flexibility- these positions are for days, evenings and weekends.
-Dedication- we want to have other dedicated people to join our fantastic team.
-The ability to work under pressure.
-Ability to carry up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time and work at a steady pace.
-Must be clean and neat in appearance and practices.
-Able to follow food safety regulations.
-Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
-Reliable and dedicated.
-Should enjoy cooking.
-In this position, we hire only skilled cooks that are able to multitask. A red seal is not necessary and neither is post secondary education but work experience must be equivalent to a certificate from the Community College.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 ? 44 per week
