October 15, 2024<p>JOB POSTING<p>Seeking Candidates Interested in RCDSB<p>Vice Principal/Principal OpportunitiesThe Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB) aims to develop all students and staff in its care to their greatest potential as individuals within our society. In alignment with our Renewed Leadership Strategy, the RCDSB is seeking candidates for Vice Principal/Principal Opportunities.Qualifications: Candidates must have PQP Part 1 or are currently registered in the program. At this time interested applicants are invited to submit the following by the closing date: a concise updated resume (This is required for all applicants to ensure qualifications) a Personal leadership Resources Self-Assessment<p> a Digital Artifact(This is required for all applicants, even if you had submitted a Digital Artifact/Sign Off during the previous round). <p> a) The applicants direct supervisor will be required to complete the Digital Artifact Sign Off Form in support of their submission. Please forward to your direct supervisor. The contact information for three professional references (with authorization for contact under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act). One of your references must have had direct supervision of your duties in the last three years. Current RCDSB Superintendents cannot be a reference. Please use this Submission Link(via Google Forms). <p>Next Steps: The RCDSB Hiring Committee will evaluate the Digital Artifact and Self-Assessment and provide each candidate a decision based on the RCDSB PVP Hiring Tool. <p> If successful, the candidate is placed in Phase 1: Waiting Room. Candidates may remain in the Waiting Room for up to 2 years without the need to re-apply. <p> Successful applicants to the Waiting Room will be offered the opportunity to interview for Phase 2: Placement and if successful, placed in the Placement Room. For potential placements, interviews will be conducted mid/late November 2024 (to be confirmed) and will be in-person at the Board Office, 1270 Pembroke Street West, Pembroke.Closing date for submissions: November 5, 2024 @ noon.Please submit your resume & Digital Artifact directly to Heather Tatton, Human Resources, via email (tattonh@rcdsb.on.ca).
