Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to oversee day-to-day operations while ensuring a top-notch dining experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the restaurant?s operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training.
Lead and motivate the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Address guest feedback and resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
Oversee inventory, order supplies, and control costs to meet budget targets.
Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain and update the menu, focusing on seasonal and local ingredients.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.
Implement strategies to increase restaurant revenue through marketing promotions and special events.
Provide regular performance and financial reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Knowledge of restaurant management software (POS systems) and basic financial reporting.
Understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Relevant certifications such as Food Safety and Alcohol Service are an asset.
