*Job description* *Janitor* This position is a seasonal Janitor position. The main responsibility of the Seasonal Janitor will be to maintain the common areas of the building. The Janitor is responsible to ensure the entry ways, washrooms, and common areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. *Duties and Responsibilities:* The Janitor?s primary responsibilities are, but are not limited to, the following: *Key Responsibilities:* *Provide a high-quality cleaning service that includes tasks such as washing, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying bins, and polishing surfaces.* \*Responsibilities\* - Clean and sanitize restrooms, and other designated areas - Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors - Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste - Dust and wipe down surfaces - Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper - Notify management of any repairs required \*Qualifications\* - Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred - Ability to maintain cleanliness standards - Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies - Strong attention to detail - Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal Contract length: 6-8 months Pay: $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Paid time off * Vision care Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Experience: * Cleaning: 1 year (preferred) * janitorial: 1 year (preferred) Language: * English (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationGrande Prairie, AB
