*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician/Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. This role requires the ability to work with hand tools, perform heavy lifting, and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting and repairs. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are safe and operational. *Duties* * Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. * Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to perform repairs efficiently. * Assemble and weld components as needed for vehicle repairs. * Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs and repair status. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency. * Collaborate with team members to enhance repair processes and share knowledge of best practices. * Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or independent shop setting. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive issues. * Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment. * Ability to lift heavy components safely as required during repairs. * Familiarity with automotive schematics and repair manuals. * Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. * A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are a plus.
