Job description * Responsible in maintaining a clean, safe, healthy environment * Responsible for reporting all deficiencies, maintenance requirements, and taking supply inventory as required * Respond to any emergencies, interact with contractors, building residents. * Perform check of mechanical room equipment/systems * Ability to paint, minor dry walling and plumbing repairs; * Follow and improve procedures, follow up on requests; * Ability to perform general maintenance/repairs; * Perform ongoing preventive maintenance; * Regular interaction/meeting with Property Manager; * Other duties as assigned. *Requirements:* * Similar job experience: 2-5 years; * Speak and read English a must and good communication skills * Knowledge of general maintenance/repair * Familiar with the Operations and Maintenance of Building Systems Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) Experience: * Superintendent: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-10-25 Expected start date: 2024-10-28- LocationToronto, ON
