About the role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Proposal Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our Sales Team by developing and managing proposals for various projects and contracts.
We seek a driven and enthusiastic individual with a track record of crafting complex quotations and fostering connections with authorized vendors globally.
This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the submission of accurate and competitive proposals to the Sales Team.
What you?ll be doing:
* Gather information from Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing Teams to tailor proposals, aligning them with the clients? RFP specifications.
* Prepare material pricing sheets based on customer bill of materials.
* Source material pricing through approved vendors. Conduct pricing analysis including evaluations of minimum quantity and lead time, while maintaining records of preferred and secondary suppliers.
* Analyze pricing and profitability metrics across multiple suppliers to optimize revenue and ensure competitive and compliant proposals.
* Prepare and format proposal documents meticulously, integrating technical specifications and relevant information.
* Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and effectively prioritizing workload.
* Maintain proposal templates, libraries and other relevant information accurate, organized and up to date.
* Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the proposal development process, including automation of repetitive tasks, standardization of templates, and enhancement of collaboration tools.
What you bring:
* 3 to 5 years? experience in Sales, Customer Service, or similar roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience with manufacturing of electronics, cable, connectors, electrical components (asset).
* High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI experience (asset).
* Experience using ERP systems, VISUAL (asset).
* Detail-orientation, meticulous organization skills.
* Ability to multitask, adapt to changing environments and thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced setting.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and engage with suppliers in a professional manner.

Pay: $43,020.82-$78,846.66 per year
