Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Tasks: Assemble wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders and barrels. Record information on products inspected. Read blueprints, written specifications and production drawings. Pack items for shipping and distribution. Reinforce assembled products with dowelling or other supports. Install hardware such as knobs and hinges. Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards. Mark defective parts or products for repair. Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces. Make minor adjustments and repairs. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. MS Word. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Equipment and machinery experience: Power tools. Small hand tool. Nail guns. Precision measuring instrument. Area of work experience: Assembly line. Bench. Building and repairing skis. Security and safety: Bondable. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
