*Responsibilities and Duties:*
* Maintain, inspect, service, test and repairs all systems, mobile equipment and vehicles used in plant, yard and road service. Ex: Forklifts, telehandler, dozers, excavators, and drilling equipment.
* Make the evaluation of parts for reuse, repair or replacement;
* Work to blueprints, schematic drawings, service manual and other like information. Adapts to new methods, processes, material and equipment;
* Inspect, repair, and troubleshoot diesel engines;
* Assist with Parts ordering;
* Work with Hydraulics;
* Perform adjustment and calibration to mechanical components;
* Perform modification and construct mechanical assemblies;
* Perform maintenance and low voltage repairs of electrical systems;
* Use various hand and power hand tools;
* Operate equipment such as overhead or mobile cranes and forklifts to assist in assignments;
* Adapts to new methods, processes, material and equipment.
*Qualifications and Skills*
* · High school diploma with minimum of 5 years? working experience
* · Basic set of hand tools required
* · Organizational, Interpersonal, and communication skills
* · Strong work ethic, to work independently and within team
* · A wide array of knowledge and experience with tools
* · Familiar with the latest vehicle diagnostic equipment
* · Experience in preventative maintenance including electrical, interior, air brake, tire, and body maintenance
* · Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
* · Working in a Computerized Maintenance Management Systems in as asset.
* · Must hold a Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
*Note: Travel will be required for this role at times*
