We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical blueprints/residential house floor plans based on specifications provided by the clients. Your attention to detail and proficiency in drafting software will be essential in ensuring accurate and precise drawings. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with sales team to understand project requirements. - Create detailed blueprints using drafting software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit as per building codes and architectural guidelines of the community. - Incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings - Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations - Review and revise drawings based on feedback from the clients - Maintain accurate documentation of all drawings and revisions - Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines Skills: - Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and Sketchup - Strong knowledge of drafting principles and techniques - Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into detailed drawings - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong problem-solving skills - Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members Job Type: Full-time Experience: * Minimum 2 Years Preferred in the same field Work Location: In person Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.23-$24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 37.25 per week Benefits: * Dental care * On-site parking * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-01- LocationEdmonton, AB
