Company / Program Description: Private Career College that offers a broad range of professional training and diploma programs in Database Administrator, business, law, computer programming, graphics, child care, and health care. Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic, and dedicated instructor who has strong communication and interpersonal skills to teach core Law Enforcement Subjects Responsibilities Include: · Assisting students through lecture, group work and some hands on experience · Administer exams and assignments as well as grade students as needed Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: · Relevant work experience in Law Enforcement · Great communication skills (verbal and written) · Previous teaching experience is always an asset Qualifications: · Active or Retired Police Officers or comparable and a minimum of 5 years? experience. · Officers with continuing education in areas such as instructional techniques, crime scenes, evidence, mediation, conflict resolution and social work are preferred. · Must be authorized to work in Canada START date: As soon as possible Working hours: Monday ? Thursday, 9:00 PM ? 2:00 PM Currently working remotely and teaching online but may change in the future to hybrid Job Type: Part-time Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Schedule: * Day shift Experience: * Police Officer or comparable: 5 years (preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M7A 2T2- LocationToronto, ON
