*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
*Duties*
* Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain patient records and ensure all medication orders are processed in compliance with hospital protocols.
* Provide medication administration support under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
* Answer patient inquiries regarding medications, ensuring clarity and understanding of prescribed treatments.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations within the pharmacy department.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes.
*Experience*
* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
* License in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy
* Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy operations is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 ? 40 per week
