*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; we also welcome applicants who have little experience and are willing to learn and grow with the team.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist dentists during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and restorative work.
* Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for use.
* Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) routinely.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care, as needed.
* Maintain accurate patient records using dental software.
* Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
* Handle administrative tasks including billing, insurance verification, and answering patient inquiries (when required).
*Qualifications*
* Certification in Dental Assisting (Level I or II)
* Proficiency in using various computer software is an important asset.
* Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is beneficial.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
* Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy environment.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 ? 32 per week
