*Job Overview*
The Treasurer plays a crucial role in managing the financial health of the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including budgeting, account analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Treasurer will work closely with other departments to maintain accurate financial records and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
* Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain accurate financial records.
* Conduct account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
* Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, to manage financial transactions efficiently.
* Prepare and present financial reports to the board and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and insights.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
* Collaborate with other departments to support their financial needs and provide guidance on budget management.
*Skills*
* Proficiency in budgeting and financial planning.
* Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical skills for effective account analysis and reporting.
* Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
* Familiarity with payroll management systems.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills for presenting financial information clearly to stakeholders.
