<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Heavy Duty Mechanic and/or Commercial Transport Mechanic.</strong></p><p><br />*Heavy Duty Mechanic or Commercial Transport Technician-Permanent, Full-time.* We offer the chance to live and work in Beautiful Northern British Columbia, where year-round recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, and biking are unlimited. Add to this, challenging work assignments and excellent opportunities for career and professional growth. <span class="long-word">**Responsibilities*</span> * Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and foster safety and environmental rules and procedures. * Perform duties that range from routine preventative maintenance to repairing major breakdowns, including troubleshooting and diagnostics. * Disassemble and reassemble components such as engines, transmissions, cooling systems, fuel and exhaust systems, brakes, clutches, differentials, hydraulics, electrical systems, and lubrication systems. * Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy equipment including haul trucks, graders, bulldozers, excavators, loaders, Trucks, Trailers, or other heavy equipment. * Working with brands such as CAT, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, International, John Deere, Komatsu, Hitachi, Madill, Tiger Cat, Eaton, Rockwell, Spicer, Allison *Qualifications* * Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson's Heavy Duty Mechanic or Commercial Transport Technician Certification * Valid driver's license * Strong interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently or as part of a team * Previous Heavy-Duty experience is an asset * Previous product knowledge is an asset. * Valid CVIP certificate * Ozone depleting substance (ODS) certificate * Previous experience with CAT ET, Cummins Insite, or DDDL is an asset *What we offer* Signing Bonus for the right candidate</p><p>Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour<br />Expected hours: No less than 40 per week</p><p> </p></div>Company Description<div>Our Mission<br/>"At Bull Dog Diesel we're committed to providing quality engine, truck, trailer, and equipment repair at your door, work site, or on the road.
