We are looking for an organized and enthusiastic Billing Clerk to join our Manifest Department. Providing accurate transfer of information from waybills, electronic trailer assignment and dispatch of outbound shipments through our Transportation Management System
Schedule: Monday to Friday ? 8:30am ? 5:00pm
*\*\*Please note: This is an administration role and NOT an accounting position\*\**
What You?ll Do:
· Process Inter Terminal Manifests.
· Transfer information from waybills, electronic trailer assignments, and dispatch trips between agents in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
· Audit and verify driver paperwork, including loading copies for the dock.
· Process Gibsons and Squamish Driver Check-in Report.
· Prepare delivery paperwork.
· Answer and enter pick-up calls from Customers.
· Manifest and dispatch central billing shipments based on the provided line ups.
· Keys manual Proof of Delivery?s (POD) for shipments delivered on the original BOL.
· Update freight bills with any Added Value Service (AVS) noted on Bill Of Lading (BOL) or POD.
· Support missing image searches.
Who You Are:
· High School graduate with courses in Business Administration or a related field, and one (1) years? experience in an office environment; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
· Freight industry experience and experience with a Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred.
· Solid knowledge of the geography of British Columbia.
· Intermediate level use of Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
· Advanced level typing speed and accuracy.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team; collaborating with others to achieve goals and objectives.
· Exceptional interpersonal and customer relations skills; drive to exceed customer expectations.
· Positive attitude that communicates job related issues with a constructive, problem-solving approach.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Highly organized with a proven ability to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines.
· Ability to work independently, accurately and problem solve; in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
· Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required.
