*Kinesiologist Job Description* *Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Kinesiologist to join our healthcare team. Primariliy to start, you will help run our fitness program. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care through this program and the application of kinesiology principles. This position involves working closely with patients to assess their physical capabilities and develop tailored rehabilitation programs. The Kinesiologist will utilize their expertise in medical terminology and organizational skills to ensure effective treatment plans are executed. *Duties* * Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations. * Run our MD Trim fitness program * Develop individualized rehabilitation programs based on analysis of patient needs. * Administer medication as prescribed and monitor patient responses. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care strategies. * Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans using computer operations. * Educate patients and their families about exercise techniques and health management. * Ensure a safe and supportive environment for pediatric patients during therapy sessions. * Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in kinesiology and related fields. *Experience* * A degree in Kinesiology or a related field is required. * Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred, particularly with pediatric patients. * Strong understanding of medical terminology is essential. * Proficiency in English for effective communication with patients and team members. * Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple patient cases efficiently. * Familiarity with computer operations for documentation and reporting purposes.
