Job details
Candidates will have experience with youth who have complex needs including fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, developmental challenges, mental illness, ASD, substance use and significant trauma related experiences. We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to develop strong relationships with youth living in foster care to work on learning and life skills, to participate in their communities including school and recreational activities and to implement goals as outlined in their treatment plan. First Aid/CPR, valid G license, use of a vehicle and a negative vulnerable sector screening are required. Child welfare check and 3 references are required prior to employment. Post Secondary education in the social services field required. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 ? 35 per week Benefits: * Casual dress Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Licence/Certification: * Class G Licence (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-04- LocationNorth Bay, ON
