The Hullabaloo is a children's treatment centre servicing children with developmental disabilities. We are delighted to expand our team to include clinical services to assist families with meeting all their child's complex needs under one roof.
We are currently seeking a passionate and reliable Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as an independent contractor.

*POSITION:*
Speech Language Pathologist
*LOCATION:*
2185 North Sheridan Way, Mississauga
*RATE:*
Commensurate with experience and education
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities of children on the autism spectrum and other disabilities.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with other professionals to ensure holistic care for each child.
* Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based techniques and strategies to address speech and language difficulties.
* Implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies when necessary to support non-verbal or limited verbal children.
* Monitor progress of each child through ongoing evaluation and adjust treatment plans as needed.
* Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other team members to provide education and support in implementing effective communication strategies at home and in other settings.
* Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and other relevant records.
* Stay up-to-date with current research, best practices, and advances in the field of speech-language pathology.
* This is an independent contractor position, and as such, the contractor will be responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and other legal obligations.
*QUALIFICATIONS:*
* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university program.
* Registered and in good standing with CASLPO.
* Experience working as an SLP with pediatric population, preferably with children with autism and other disabilities.
* Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders associated with autism spectrum disorders.
* Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team is desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents/caregivers, colleagues, and other professionals.
* Ability to create a positive and supportive environment for children and their families.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in utilizing assessment tools, therapy materials, and technology relevant to speech-language pathology.
* Vulnerable sector check completed within the last year.

Expected hours: 5 ? 39.5 per week
