*Job Summary* We are looking for a videographer in Halifax or close to Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia for a video/photo shoot in late October (around October 27th). Important elements: - Lobsterboys is the company and the video will focus on day in the life of direct to kitchen live lobster delivery. It shows Lobsters coming off of the dock/boat, the best selected, banded and put in special boxes for shipping/delivery. - show loading on a van and driving to airport for shipment to the US - Show the lobstermen and people involved. The care. The white glove service for the very best live lobster. - take some b-roll with iphone of founders of Lobsterboys. Some of the lobstermen, the ocean, the town. etc. for social media - We can share more about the Brand, Style Guide and more. To apply: please share links to samples of your video work. What video equipment/photo equipment do you use? Where you are located and confirm availability for shoot late in October *Responsibilities* * Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and plan video projects. * Operate video cameras and related equipment to capture footage. * Edit raw video footage into polished final products, ensuring high quality and adherence to project timelines. * Manage all aspects of video production, including lighting, sound, and post-production editing. * Maintain an organized archive of video files and project assets. * Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in videography. * Assist in the development of scripts and storyboards as needed. * Participate in on-location shoots, ensuring all equipment is set up properly for optimal results. *Skills* * Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. * Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting techniques, and sound recording. * Excellent storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and composition. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus. * Effective communication skills to convey ideas clearly and work effectively with team members.
