_*Journeyman / Journeywoman Electrician*_ *Calgary, AB* _*Who are we?*_ We seek to advance Canada's energy industry and economy while reducing society's environmental impact. Kuby Renewable Energy Ltd.?s CEO Jake Kubiski was recognized by Edify Magazine in 2022?s Top 40 under 40 for not only being career oriented but also being heavily engaged in the community, and ?taking solar power into his own hands?. _*What do we do?*_ We focus our business on the design and installation of residential and commercial solar projects, energy storage, Tesla Powerwall installation, electric vehicle (EV) Chargers, off-grid solar, as well as general electrical services. _*What do we look for in a candidate?*_ * Hard working * Team orientated attitude with the ability to lead a small crew * Adaptable to working in changing environments. * Passionate about solar power and sustainability * Pride in workmanship * Conduct themselves with integrity and accountability * Ability to interact with clientele in a courteous and respect manner * A strong commitment to safety *What do we require of you?* * Must be willing to work in outdoor conditions, on roofs, and in attics * Able to lift 50 lbs * Journeyman / Journeywoman electrician ticket from an accredited learning institution (Considering 4th year apprentices as well) * Must be familiar with the use of hand and power tools (must provide own hand tools) * Ability to interpret drawings, single line diagrams, spec sheets and translate to successful installation. * Working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code * Residential electrical experience (industrial/commercial-only candidates will not be considered) * CSTS and Fall Protection * Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver?s abstract *What would be nice for you to have?* * Experience as a foreman or crew-lead * Residential sloped roof experience * Red seal journeyperson ticket * Solar PV or alternative energy experience * First Aid * Confined space training *Job Duties include but are not limited to.* * Interpret engineered drawings * Install solar modules on roofs/structures * Interconnect electrical wires and devices * Improve procedures and practices through critical thinking and problem-solving * Residential service upgrades * Sub panel installation * Drive class 5 vehicles * Other duties as required _*The Perks*_ _*Hard Perks*_ * Competitive Wages * Shift Differential for out of town work * Condensed work weeks * Benefits Package including medical, dental, vision, dependents, and practitioner coverage for massages, physio, chiro, and more. * Matching contributions to a Bitcoin Investment Savings Plan * Tool & Boot allowance for field staff * Employee Referral Bonus.
